George Soros


George Soros was born in Budapest, Hungary. His father was a Hungarian Jew, who became a prisoner of war during and after World War I. Escaping from Russia, he rejoined his family in Budapest. George Soros worked as an arbitrage trader and as an analyst from 1956 to 1963.  Developing a philosophy of "reflexivity throughout this time, he had begun to explore on how to deal in investments.
